Rick as the Founder and CEO of Cesari Media, one of the longest running brand response marketing agencies in the United States, has been a pioneer in the DRTV Advertising industry since the late 80’s and continues to be on the cutting edge of new response marketing venues. He built Cesari Media which is now considered one of the best brand-building, response-generating agencies in North America. He has helped build many iconic brands such as Juiceman, Sonicare, The George Foreman Grill, OxiClean and has taken companies, like GoPro, from a start-up to a billion dollar company in less than six years. Rick has had many leadership positions in his lifetime including the Board of Directors of the Electronic Retailing Association and Bastyr University. He is the author of the book “Buy Now” which outlines brand response television success strategies and is soon to be publishing “Transactional Branding.” He is a frequent public speaker and has recently been asked by universities to talk about non traditional advertising to their Marketing and Advertising Departments. He is married to his lovely wife, Martha, and has a wonderful and successful daughter, Anna a UW graduate.
And… with what little time he has left in a day, you may find him on the golf course, fly fishing or climbing mountains.
Jane has been a part of Rick Cesari’s companies since she moved to Seattle from Boston in 1991. With Rick as her mentor, she learned every part of the Brand Response (D2C) marketing business as she worked her way up from line producer on The George Foreman Grill Show to her current title of COO in the 20+ years she’s been with Cesari Media . Always looking to push herself further, Jane left Cesari Media briefly to attend Graduate School full time and obtain her MBA. Upon graduation she became the VP of Marketing for a SaaS order management software company in Boston that was purchased by NetSuite in 2013. Soon after, she moved back to Seattle and returned to help Rick create what is today the nation’s foremost Brand Response agency. Jane has been a top performer since her high school days where she was an honorable mention for the All-American Student Athlete Award, and has since qualified for three marathons including the Boston Marathon, in her home town. Jane loves to travel, not only for business but also to visit her six siblings who live all over the country.
Gail has been an entrepreneur and marketing executive in the advertising and tech space for the majority of her career. Prior to joining Cesari Media she’d taken a brief break from advertising and founded EDUindex an EdTech company offering a solution for relevant curriculum. Her career path has been to most recently assist REVShare, acquired by Cannella, a DRTV company, in raising their first round after a couple decades in the business; starting SEMDirector from ground up, an enterprise online marketing firm, becoming Covario and being acquired by iProspet; helping to grow Webmetro, acquired by TeleTech Holding; and assisted in the first High Tech company, Cybermind, a virtual reality company, to go public in Germany; amongst other engagements. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Arizona in Educational Psychology with Minor in NeuroCognitive Psychology and Cognates in research and statistics. She chairs and teaches doctoral candidates for three different online universities, is a frequent speaker, and enjoys her Arabian horse ranch in southern Arizona.
Michelle has 23 years of experience on both the television media and agency sides of direct response. Having worked for various affiliates including ABC and CBS, she has an insider’s perspective on how to negotiate and place the most efficient media plans with both broadcast and cable networks. Michelle’s unique approach also goes “Beyond the Spots” to negotiate content integrations and special promotions within the overall strategy. Michelle brings a well-rounded approach to her buying decisions and is able to forge strong relationships with broadcast stations and cable network which often lead to additional last minute opportunities resulting in added value for her clients.
Cassie is responsible for media client management, reporting, analytics and back-end set-up. Her experience working with direct response marketers (Silk’n, Darex, GoPro, Rug Doctor, Rover and more) has contributed to Cassie’s exceptional analytical abilities. Cassie and team provide detailed reports on all metrics of performance, customized to the client’s preferences. Cassie coordinates all elements of campaign setup and maintenance, ensuring that the entire process runs smoothly and efficiently.
